Credent Aerial Surveys in Papua

Papua, Indonesia, 30th October 2013. Natalie (PK-ICT) our Cessna Grand Caravan survey aircraft is currently deployed in Papua covering several lidar and aerial photography missions. During our time here we’ll be crossing the Maoke (Snow) Mountains - the mountain range running 692km laterally through the centre of Papua and reaching a maximum elevation of 16,042ft. Much of the range is above the snow line.

The ferry flight from Jakarta to our base in south-east Papua was 2046nm, further than Perth – Brisbane, or Singapore – Shanghai, which we covered with an overnight stop in Ambon.

Our project work for these missions covers plantation agriculture, mining and forestry applications.
